·       White candles for altar.

·       A white candle and holder for each room in the house.

·       A red cross.

·       A corn doll

·       A piece of white cloth

·       Incense such as jasmine, wisteria, cinnamon or violet.

Light the altar candle and the incense. Invoke Bridget using these words.

“Lady of light Maiden and

Goddess

             bless us with your presence here tonight.”

Wrap up the corn doll in the white cloth and say

“As you offered your mantel for sanctuary for babe   So we signify this tonight.   As bride we honour you also.”

Place the doll on the altar. Now taking your candle for the room you are in, light it from the altar candle, which for you represents the Goddess.

Place the new candle carefully on the window. Spend a few moments with the candle thinking of bridget’s power the say.

“As this flame burns so let is signify the eternal flam sacred to Bridget.”

Repeat this for each room of your home lighting a new candle in turn

Return to your altar and lift up the cross and say

“protect us now as the light brightens we honour your symbol.”

Now place the cross on your front door so you are protected
